Join the Seed Team in the field — no experience needed, all ages encouraged to join us! The Native Lands Restoration Collaborative team, volunteers and community partners collect native seeds each year to benefit local restoration projects and free seed libraries. We'll provide gloves, tools and education to all volunteers.

Signing up allows us to communicate weather delays, changes to location, etc. Most of our collection sites are private landscapes in/near Douglas County, KS — addresses provided to those who RSVP.

Join the Native Lands Restoration Collaborative staff in care of a publicly accessible remnant prairie, Blazing Star Prairie, just outside of Lawrence! With you gift of time, we will work together to remove woody species that threaten the grassland, plant native species, learn to identify plants we encounter, build relationships with the land and other community members.  Tools, gloves, water and education provided! Everyone is welcome — no experience required.
