Join the Seed Team in the field — no experience needed, all ages encouraged to join us! The Native Lands Restoration Collaborative team, volunteers and community partners collect native seeds each year to benefit local restoration projects and free seed libraries. We'll provide gloves, tools and education to all volunteers.

Join the Haskell Greenhouse and Native Lands Restoration Collaborative (NLRC) at the Tommaney Library to clean native seeds! As we work with our hands, we'll share stories, discuss native plant species and their deep relationships with humans and animals. Conversations, laughter, and community relationship-building included! All necessary tools and equipment will be provided. Join Native Lands Restoration Collaborative (NLRC) team at Blazing Star Prairie to clean native seeds in benefit of community restoration projects! NLRC and community volunteers have collected thousands of native seeds from local ecosystems that need to be cleaned for dispersal at various restoration projects. Volunteers will learn how to clean many native species' seeds and explore the long, invaluable relationships between humans and native plants.
