Community Seed Team - Intro & Adventure

Join Native Lands Restoration Collaborative, Kansas City Wildlands, Kansas Land Trust, and Haskell Greenhouse to learn all about our new Seed Team and how to get involved!

We'll begin the gathering with an information session about seed collecting, seed teams and how we can work together to improve the restoration of native landscapes and important community food crops. Then, we'll head out into the restoration sites on Haskell campus to experience seed collecting together! Everyone is welcome - no skill necessary. If you'd like to join us for the field adventure, please come prepared for comfort walking in tall grass, woodlands, and along wetland paths (we won't walk into the water, this time!).
