In this newsletter, you'll find the story of our Nourishing Communities project, which focuses on returning native foods to the region through partnerships with local farms and community gardens. You'll also read about the outdoor classroom we hope to build for the community, The Rookery, which combines a covered learning space with an observation deck that provides a long range view of prairie, woodland and wetland landscapes and all of the wildlife who call them home. We're still fundraising for that project, seeking grant opportunities and developing collaborations. We'll keep you informed!
