Dear fellow land steward,
Welcome, friend, to the gathering season. Fall is the season of plenty, when food is abundant on the land. Every pocket is full of seeds. Our warm tummies power our bodies through winter preparations. Our eyes relax as the sun's rays soften. Naturally, our hearts are bursting with gratitude for every moment we've shared with you on the prairies, under the trees and at the water's edge. Thank you for all of the energy you've shared in care of the land. Thank you for inspiring us to keep fighting for healthy landscapes, for everyone. And a most humble thank you for supporting our team through what has turned out to be a pretty tough year!
We're so excited to invite you to our annual Trivia Night gathering, to celebrate land stewardship and community strength immersed in local music and the native flavors of the region. I'm particularly excited to party with everyone this year and hear about what inspires your love of the land. I can't think of a more motivating gathering than this - sharing stories from the growing season with the zing of native berries on our tongues, a whirl of nature facts and laughter flying around the room. I'll see you soon and I'll bring trivia hints :) |
